E89 roof repair n/east England.
Could anyone recommend someone to diagnose and repair a roof fault in the Durham or North east area if possible. I have a 2010 sdrive 23i. Red flashing light on dashboard and chiming sound if attempting to operate roof. Thanks, Chris.

Probably Zedshed across near St Helens..not aware of any SMEs on E89 roofs there.. 
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

The best thing you can do is get a code reader, even a basic one and see which kind of error codes it’s throwing out.
You can then search on here and get an idea on the problem and cost.
The roof is a complex beast, and you want to take it to a garage armed with some knowledge, or the quotes could get silly.
Some roof repairs are really very inexpensive. Others not so much.

Been on to Zedshed facebook page and they look the perfect fit for my problem thanks.
My mate has a basic fault code reader so will see what that shows up.
