Hi everyone, just wanted to know what you thought of the 2006 facelift bumper (non M) in comparison to the pre facelift bumper?

I personally have come to love it, the angular design with what looks like a huge smile on the front.

What are your thoughts yay or nay?

I’ve always preferred it. Much more aggressive than pre facelift

It must just be me then, but I prefer the looks of the pre-facelift front bumper, and it solves the facelift problem of misted/rusty fog lights!
Coupes because stunning!

I’m with you. More curves, less straight angles and infinitely better fog lights

Agreed it’s really started to grow on me. Not too sure why it’s the only one who got side reflectors though

Not sure. Maybe something to do with the American market and not making two different bumpers?
I’m having mine painted body coloured while the car is in for a respray.

Whatever the reason I really didn't like the reflectors on my first two tin-tops.

But thankfully M's don't have them. :D

BMW always intended to build Roadsters and Coupes, just took year to get around to the one with a proper roof. And AFAIK it's only bolted on. :poke:
