I've seen some threads regarding people taking interesting trips. I am wondering if there would be a way to post such trip experiences in a specific area on this forum.
I am at the moment on a major trip across the USA (Route 66 then up to Vegas, followed by a crossing of the Mohave Desert then along the Costal Highway 1 and 101 up to Oregon, then back home along the Oregon Trail east ward in direction back home to Eastern Canada). All in all I will be traveling 13,000 KM on this trip.
I've seen other trips people have taken, however, they are all mixed in with threads in different BMW models and areas. Perhaps a location can be added here and showing the Model and year could be one of the Subject line entries?
Just thinking about that here
Cheers,
Rolf-Dieter

Hey Rolf, I think the General discussion area is fine for your, my, anybody's trip. Just 'coz one person is miffed isn't reason enough to change the world ...
I'm going to do a smaller version of your trip in a couple of weeks (Calgary to LA to Phoenix to Santa Fe and back to Calgary) and I will post pics (if any) in the Gallery, or in general Discussion........
Good luck with the rim and don't drink too much beer in Idaho

We could make a Sticky Thread for these and if there were enough of these at some point then perhaps a section could be justified.

I've never really understood what a "Sticky" thread is or does ?
