You know within a couple of minutes that you will buy a car or not like Hark says. Just the way the owner treats the car in the few minutes you are there tells you a lot. Leaving keys in the boot whilst closing it, general roughness of opening bonnet etc.
Current:
911-50 Black - unique spec
X5M - 575 hp of fun in a V8
Abarth 595 Comp.
Golf Clipper - collectors item
Z4 3.0si Black Sapphire
VW ID.3

Previous:
Z4M Silver Grey - non flimper spec (gone to Bing)
Z4 3.0 Toledo

So true. How about the first M I went to see... He jumped straight in the car from cold to take me to a point so I could test drive and literally ragged it all the way there (from cold). I asked if this was how he drove the car from cold to which he replied "I drive it like I stole it, 24/7". Needless to say I passed on that one :headbang:

The new V8 'M' could be coming out within the next year (if at all) so I'd factor that into your negotiations i.e existing car soon to be an old model

Much as I'd love that to be the case I can't see it happening in the current climate.

Fancied the look of the "M"

I really don't think it will either, the new 1m will be lighter and more nimble than a v8 powered new ZM. Kind of misses the point for a 2 seater. If anything well looked after ZM(ok coupes)'s will be more desirable as the last NA s6 bimmers...
WAS: black on black MR with carbon trim. NOW: IB/Champagne/Carbon ZMC
