just a thought, if you opt for only 3rd party only insurance should the area you live in effect your insurance?

my logic being:- the area you live in determines what band you are in i.e. a high band is determined so by the amount of car crime, so therefor if you only have 3rd party then this should not effect your poilicy

Cos its usually third party fire and theft isn't it? Theres two Cardiff crimes right there LOL.

Not to mention the chances of getting Charlotte Church's stiletto through your roof on a Friday night (from the outside of course!). :oops:

I'm paying £1,400 however most companies were quoting £2.000-£2,500.
An Admiral multi car quote with my girlfriend made a massive difference.

21 - 4 years no claims - Clean license - Low risk postcode area - £500 excess - Fully comp

Oh and putting my mother on as a named driver saved me £100ish
I guess I best let her drive a couple of feet at some point this year to keep it legit :rofl:

Back in the day when I was 23 I was fortunate enough to buy a brand new Z4 2.2i and was paying circa £750 with 3 years no claims in an SK8 7 (low risk) postcode. Recall the excess was similar in that it was £500 or so.

How times have changed! That said, suppose petrol was about 65p per litre too!
2004-2005: "04" Saph 2.2i; 2007-2010: "05" Tit 3.0i; 2010-2012: "08" Audi TTR;
2012+ "MY13" Audi TTC TFSi S-line Black with 19s and lots of toys
