Help blemishes on my new Zed!

Post by NigelB » Tue Nov 29, 2011 12:27 pm

Hi all,
Given my new Zed it's first wash and noticed these blemishes that look like smears but they're not. After washing tried a bit of wax on the areas which sort of helped but after 2 days they have re appeared.

Can anyone give me anymore remedies to try? Don't want to go back to dealer if it's simple.

Here are 3 images in the link.

Difficult to see with those pics, but looks like minor marring on the lacquer.

As they are small you could polish by hand using some G3 liquid compound, then a polish and wax after. but be careful!

Thanks, when you say be careful what do I need to be wary of? Could I make it worse?

Looking at the pics ( slightly blurry mind ) it looks as though a machine polisher ma of been used on it at some point and it could be clearcoat failure. Better pictures would help tbh. You say used a wax on it and it covered teh area for a couple of days. What product? Reason I ask is so many products are called polishes when they are actually waxes. AG super resin polish for instance contains fillers which will hide the issue for a short period of time however, they will most certainly come back.
