any idea why can't it be done on pre-facelift cars? different stalk or programmed differently?

I just ordered one of these as well - hopefully they are applicable to US cars?

I don't know to be honest, all I do know is some members with face lift have been told by dealers it can't be done. Mine works - just did it myself. Seems strange that some facelifts do and some don't.
Now having the Sport button on by default would be good.
