It's finally mine!

Post by pmeloche » Wed Mar 12, 2008 3:01 am

Hi. After almost four months of waiting I have taken possession of my brand new 2008 Z4M Coupé. It is Monaco Blue with an Imola Red interior and Madeira wood trim. Here are a few pictures:

So - what tires are you running??
The Z4M Roaster & Croup are gone!
It's E92 M3 from now on.

Nice and welcome.

Hopefully something beside summer performance tires but the tread marks in the snow look like OEM.

Your bundle of joy is just beautiful, congratulations. :) I know you are going to love it, I am very envious. But, what is that white stuff all around? You would not actually drive in that stuff would you? :poke:

I am running OEM Continental ContiSportContact summer tires. We are having snow storms every three days  and I took a chance driving the car from the dealership to my house. It's only a 10 minutes drive. The highway was nice and dry but as can be seen in the pictures the little roads are not very summer performance tire friendly. I hit a few spots of ice and snow and the car jerked badly. Not fun! :(

Indeed. When underexposed, Monaco Blue looks almost black. Not a bad effect IMO.

She's a Beaut! take it from a fellow snow belt con-padre , if your gonna run the car in the snow you will, by all means, need a set of winter tires. I recommend the Blizzaks or the Dunlop winter sport M3. Enjoy :driving:
