Thinking about getting brakes checked

Post by mason storm » Wed Apr 09, 2008 1:15 pm

My brakes seem a bit on the weak side, so I want to get them checked, however based on my recent experiances with the dealer I don't trust them to make a good job of this. I'm hoing to take it to a local trye/brake and MOT centre that i have used before to get them checked. Is there anything else I need to consider should they need to replace the brakes like the sensor?

Any advice welcome

Sensor is only a wear sensor so will not need replacing unless you have completely worn through your brake pads.
Current:
911-50 Black - unique spec
X5M - 575 hp of fun in a V8
Abarth 595 Comp.
Golf Clipper - collectors item
Z4 3.0si Black Sapphire
VW ID.3

Previous:
Z4M Silver Grey - non flimper spec (gone to Bing)
Z4 3.0 Toledo
