Newbie on his second Zed

Post by hellequinn » Sun Jun 16, 2013 5:58 pm

Evening all. Just found out about this forum and decided to join.

On my second Zed. Pics below. The stratos grey with cream leather interior is the new one. Just bought some 107 wheels off another member of this forum. Refurb and fitting to come.

Any tips on any other good mods would be excellent - especially with regards to performance as I am running on 2.0l.

Thanks for looking and looking forward to being part of this community.

Fitting a stubby will give you a bit of extra performance less drag and less weight :D
Hi and welcome to the forum and a nice looking couple of zeds

Hi and welcome. Was your previous a 2.0i as well?

Don't think there is a lot you can do performance wise if you are referring to the engine.

Yes the previous was a debadged 2.0. Just wanting a few more hp - thinking about filters etc Although this might not be possible. Thanks for comments about the interior. Trying to change it up a little hence the wheel change. Any suggestions welcomed. I will have a look at the threads as suggested. Still debating run flats but I am sure there is loads on the forum about this.

Cheers for the replies.

Jonny essex wrote:Welcome, re-tunning for a 2L would get a max output of around 30 torque and 15 BHP, another mod im a fan off is swapping out the awful pre or post facelift front bumpers, go for an Aero or M or the Alpina is nice too, and lowered....were good at spending other forum members money on here
Cheers for that. Sounds the ticket. Next question is where and how much? I am in west London any recommendations / costs re the tuning and the body kit?

Don't mind you guys spending my cash - just gotta convince the domestic commander in chief.

Mind you better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission!
