Although I've done this before, I've forgotten.
What lead do I need to connect and older ipod or iPhone 4 into a business Sat Nav unit so that it used AUX input and the lead is in the glove box.
Not bothered about text on screen as only ever puts music on random

On the normal AUX it is just a 3.5mm - 3.5mm audio jack, but this does audio only from the headphone jack.

Re: iPod iPhone 4 and older
I did this previously using an iPOD lead, and maintaed some degree of control for songs back and forth from the head unit and steering wheel, I just can't remember what I did or what lead I bought.
So it must be possible.
Also the Z4M I had previoulsy, also has an IPOD lead in the glove box, that was factory fitted, from a Sat Nav unit.
