Cheers. They are just a bit of fun but they they look a great on the car (my choice). Not every ones taste OEM wise but the car owes me nothing and I like tinkering!mr wilks wrote:I think the satin finish, silver paint & lowered stance are pulling those off for you & hats off for breaking the mould
perhaps a dark grey/graphite rim could work well with a black centre

The car was designed as a rag top - then came a tintop version.Toe-side wrote:Each too there own .

It's pretty but it was an afterthought

I agree not being split and a one piece black isnt great... But i wouldnt call them ugly!
Look better then corroded!
I was almost tempted to give mine a black rim and silver star... But realised that would make them look smaller.

I did split my wheels btw and polished each fastner.......very therapeutic.
Needed the detail of the polished bolts with the satin black. But very labour intensive.

I,m quite taken with "Toe side"s matt black finish & tempted to do the next set silver rim with satin black centre

BMW have engineers, whose primary motivation is to fix problems.ronk wrote:The car was designed as a rag top - then came a tintop version.Toe-side wrote:Each too there own .

Anyway....Back on Topic. I think the worst thing about those wheels is trying to photograph anything black.......
