CDV Replacement

Post by ZedM » Sun Oct 26, 2014 8:53 pm

Hi everyone, I know this subject has been well covered but should I simply remove the CDV on my 2003 Z4 2.5 or should I fit a modified valve? If the latter, can anybody recommend a suitable supplier of a modded valve please? Thanks

The only reason to leave it in place is to preserve a warranty, i.e. It looks like you've not done anything to the car.

Warranty not an issue so I'm gonna go for removal. Thanks for all the feedback. :)

Sorry if this is a childish question, but does it change the driving dynamics when trying to break into a drift? Do you feel more "connected" with the wheels like there isn't a cushion in between?

Having more direct control of the clutch engagement is a good thing ;)
