Someone said that the wiring around the standard Z4-antenna is for receiving the TMC-data..

I have no idea - I use TomTom Traffic to avoid the traffic :D

I still get Traffic information through the radio from traffic bulletins etc...

I still receive TMC without issue with the stubby aerial. In the UK TMC is sent through Classic FM channels, so the stubby is unconnected to it. Problem on the Zed is it's only a single channel radio (on the earlier models certainly) so you have to listen to the TMC channel or CD, else lose messaging

Which is the most annoying thing in the world as who on earth listens to Classic FM whilst driving their Z :headbang:

Never thought of listening to a CD whilst needing to check the traffic info though  Why can't they just broadcast the TMC on Radio 1

Thanks, I've ordered it... I don't listen to the radio that much but wouldn't like to lose that TMC :)

For a free service (after initial cost built into the radio) then it's not bad at all. It's biggest downfall is that sometimes the trafic jams it warns of have gone by the time you get to the supposed site, so you are never sure if to chance it or divert.

Nice colour combo.

Was that for sale on pistonheads a few months ago? Recognise the wheels and spoiler. Think there was a pic posted on there of it at a petrol station with 2 gangstas sat in it! :P
