Admiral or Chris Knott?

Post by Baadshah » Tue Aug 04, 2015 10:09 am

Hi,

I have had 2 awesome years of driving :driving: , and it's time to renew my insurance now.
I have been with Admiral for those 2 years, fully comp.
I will be renewing my insurance in the next few days and Chris Knott have beaten the quote (like for like) by £1.50 :D
Do you think it is worth going through the hassle of changing to Chris Knott, or shall I just stick to Admiral?

People on this forum have said good things about both.
I am leaning towards sticking with Admiral at the moment, but would welcome any views from people.

Thanks

Call admiral an they should match or better it, did a similar thing, decent quote from Chris Knott, much lower than my renewal, called my existing insurance back to cancel, who then beat Chris Knott, so stuck with them, until you need it you don't truly know if their any good

I was with Admiral for 3 years but will be going elsewhere after they increased my renewal by £350 due to a non fault claim.

That is why they are so cheap. As long as you don't stick out for any reason, you are ok ...
Current:
911-50 Black - unique spec
X5M - 575 hp of fun in a V8
Abarth 595 Comp.
Golf Clipper - collectors item
Z4 3.0si Black Sapphire
VW ID.3

Previous:
Z4M Silver Grey - non flimper spec (gone to Bing)
Z4 3.0 Toledo

Could you relaim that as an uninsured loss from the third party?
It will be on your record for years to come !

Rang admiral back and they were able to beat the quote by 40 quid. So stuck with them.
