I’m resurrecting this thread / topic as @barty has today updated on his ‘new’ E91 and there’s prob all lots of lovely non-Zed alternatives that have not been collated in one place to enjoy (I am aware from a search there are lots of threads where members have posted their own car or asked about choices from others, but no consolidated page).

So, come on, let’s see what else you’re driving. Nothing is off-limits. Really looking forward to seeing what’s out there… looks like this topic was last updated in 2016!!!

In order to get things moving, here’s our daily drivers… a Fiat 500 ‘Riva’ (yep, the boat builders) - 1 of 400 or so - and a Mercedes CLS 350. You’re welcome

I've changed my daily twice since I posted on here in 2015.

I didn't put a photo on that time so will put that right that now!

I was so impressed with the N52 engines in my E86s I replaced it with an E91 325i in 2018, but it just felt a bit "flat". So in 2019 I replaced that with my current E90 330i.

Following that post from 2015, I sold my S2000 daily driver in 2016 whilst living overseas. In 2017, I bought this as my daily driver to tackle the muddy lanes of Devon and regular commutes back to London:

Once back in Aus, my Zed became my daily driver again for the first time in years:

However, driving 100km or more each day forced me to buy a smaller, more economical car better suited to commuting than my track orientated Zed.

Quite the thread resurrection, I’ve not seen an email from this forum in years xD

Had to read the thread again to remember what I wrote last… the S5 went a long time ago.

Nowadays my daily has less than four wheels and is far quicker into London than a zed every would’ve been!
