I have a 2003 zed with only 45000 since I bought it. Dealer actually did not do much on shedule maint so I replaced the plugs myself, cleaned the maf sensor with CRC MAF sensor cleaner spray, cleaned my K&N filter and sprayed the throtlle opening with CRC TRHOTTLE cleaner spray.
What a big difference, it drives like new again...... unbeleivable huh? but its true. So....what are you guys waiting for? Just do it! :driving:

Clean it with CRC Maf sensor cleaner spray.
and since you're there. Spray the throttle opening too with CRC throttle cleaner spray.

I've obviously not spent enough time under a hood (bonnet) the last 15 years. Where did you clean the throttle opening?

Be careful, excessive oil on K&N filters is a leading cause of fouled MAFs.
'09 BMW R1200GS-A, '09 Ducati 696 (sold), '08 Z4 M Coupe, '07 Z4 Coupe (sold), '01 Tundra, '00 M5, '89 750iL, and I think my wife has a car, too.

platinum plug NGK just like the OEM but with out the BMW dealer stamp. They're the same. Just buy it from Kragen or anywhere.

At the end of the air intake hose(after the MAF sensor)attached to the engine. You will not miss it.
