HDR experimenting

Post by TxMike » Thu Feb 05, 2009 12:39 am

Been experimenting with this "Photomatix" software to create HDR photos.
It's freaky, but cool! These are a couple of my first attempts with the Zed:

Those shots are awesome! On a side note, what brand tires are on your Z? They look great.

Nice.

(I gotta get me one of those dragon stickers--plan to remedy that soon as it gets warm enough to enjoy the ride)

That 'particular' sticker is not sold at Deal's Gap. Got it at Iron Horse motorcycle lodge where we stayed, just up the road a ways from the Dragon.

Hm, may have to wander up there and see if they'll take pity on me and let me get one. :)

Hubby has a wild story of that road (rainy, dark, running on fumes in the pickup as he and his brothers were trying to find a camp site for the night. They had gone to the mountains to fish and ended up running the Dragon by accident!)

Love the first pic, really cool.

Tyres great too, they don't sell them in the UK, I fancied a set

They did not strike me as noisy at first, but now with a few miles on them they are somewhat noisier than the Eagle F1's were.
Not so bad as to be uncomfortable though. I really only notice it occasionally.
Then I turn the music up and it just seems to go away... :D

I have created an album showing some original photos, and the hdr's made from them.
It's interesting stuff. Take a look if you're interested:
