Please advise if i'm mistaken
Yep definitely mistaken Andy, as the windbreaker is illustrated fully installed in the 2nd from last photo, therefore I would totally expect it to be included in the sale along with the both hoop and boot storage brackets...

That was a cheap z4 bearing in mind the M sport seats and suspension .If you had not posted all that nonsense about the seats you could have probably got more for it.

Not really these cars are cheap now its just the owners think their a lot more and struggle to sell them. If id of waited 3 months i may of got £3500. Fact is I paid £1500 for the car cost £350 mot and few bits. 2 weeks later sold it for £3000 and another £100 selling the wind delflector seperate. Its all fun and games

That's the reason why I still have mine. Paid 6.5K for it 4.5 years ago and would probably see half that amount back if I sold it, which wouldn't get me anything better, so better off keeping it.

You'd be surprised how many people think it's still an expensive car to buy

Im a E46 guy owned quite a lot watched the prices on them fall over the years. People selling good ones cheap due them aging 12yrs+ and buyers not wanting older cars. The Z4 E85 is now in that catergory if you have a mint one your best holding on to it. You will just loose a lot of value and someone will get a nice bargain. Prices wont go up but at the same time they shouldnt fall if its good example. I had a 1 prev owner E46 330ci vert i kept 5yrs but seen the prices crash and got out sold at a decent price. Ive had 2 more e46's since that car, Years on looking back now to replace one the same as it would cost the same price as when i sold at 3yrs ago. Good ones will just stay same price. A lot of owners do think their worth a lot more than they actually are private/trade etc. There's some guy who messaged me sayiing how you sell the car so quck, where you sell it & how etc. I just replied its all about the price. People thesedays will drve 150 miles just to get one £100 cheaper. All people want is cheap cars, Many private owners will try to price their car on what they think its worth (usaually £100-1000 more). If you price a car to sell at £5000 and theres loads of others a long side it on the trader 9/10 buyers thesdays willl look at the cheapers cars first and you wont get a look in it will just sit there for weeks. Or if yours is for sale £5000 a buyer has no intention of paying that and will come with £4500. Same thing happened when i sold my other Z4 had no interest what so ever. Had beyern alloys that cost me £2000 year before I priced it well £5000. Soon as I took the wheels off and bought some skanky £150 17" alloys from my bmw breaker. It sold within days then looked s**t as well on 17" but thats buyers for you

Thats why i wanted too take the red seats out of this one the buyer wasnt even that interested in that they was m sport seats in the end being new to Z4's was just a bonus in a cheap car i suppose. He got a good deal had AP coilovers handled great better than my other 3.0 z4. Sounded better too having poweflow a good brand stainless exhaust.

Not everyone takes that view about buying a car. If its cheap then to me I have to ask questions and suspect hidden problems. I normally look to pay over the odds for a nice example with low mileage and few owners and dont put much stay in dealers servicing stamps (which shrieks just in time minimum servicing standards). But then we are all different and I hang onto my cars for a good few years, saving a few hundred pound just doesnt interest me when it comes to cars.

I think you missed my point. These are old cars now and selling them is a niche 2 seater market so isnt as easy as you think being a seasonal car. In general if you sell a car the person looking has less money to spend so will try their luck striking a deal. E.g I've just got back from auction if you have a budget of £10000 you dont just look at £10000 cars do you you look at ones above and hope you make a good deal. With private sellers they over price their cars too much they sit about unsold untill you reduce the price etc. There a couple lads i know who have been trying to sell their z4 for last 2 months. Reason their not selling is the price owners just want to much living in la la land. Which is why if you search the trader these days 95% of cars you see are sold by trade.
