The Baur is dead!

BKK 135 Y served me unexpectedly well, and faithfully. I bought the car about three years ago for the bargain price of £300, and it never missed a beat once, even when it was my daily driver for 18 months!

Unfortunately, on Saturday morning, a cambelt snapped and some valves bent and I can't really see my way clear to paying for all the repairs.

Right up to the end, it was a fun, entertaining drive and the car will be sorely missed. I am heartbroken.
Cheers,
Spokey

I suspect that I'll sell it to someone who will strip it down for parts. :(

I'd replace it with another one, if I could find another one. But they really are unspeakably rare. So I'll probably get myself an old 924 or 924S.

That's very sad, spokey... a real shame :(

Every cloud has a silver lining though and you can get something else new(ish!) and interesting.

Have you inquired about how much to replace it with a used engine (if possible)?

I'm waiting for quotes. :( I'm not very optimistic, though.

I won't and I might. Can you put up with a car built for the correct side of the road, though? :?
