2016 E89 Z4 20i. Estoril Blue. Manual. 30,000 miles

It is with regret that it has been decided to sell our lovely manual gearbox Estoril Blue 20i E89. The car is owned by my wife and she loves it, but due to a change of work role, she needs a more 'practical' car (with more luggage space).

The car is a 2016 standard (no remap) 20i M-sport, with just 30,700 miles at present. Estoril Blue paintwork with black leather interior.

The Estoril Blue colour was only offered from late 2015 until the end of production in early 2017. These 'run out' cars were fitted with a good spec, so ours has:
Full i-drive with sat nav
Heated seats
Front and rear parking sensors (PDC)
Cruise control
Power folding mirrors
Extended storage
Extended lighting (including external door handle lights, puddle lights and additional interior LED lighting)
Wind deflector
19" 326M M-sport wheels with Bridgestone run flat tyres (all have over 7mm tread).
Standard features such as auto Xenon lights and wipers and auto dimming mirrors (all three).

Two working keys and full bookpack.

I only buy the best cars and therefore pay good money for them. This car is no exception. It is in almost pristine condition inside and out and has been looked after all its life (you can tell). No curbing or damage to the (crack-free) 326M 19" wheels.

The car has no faults.

I look after my cars extremely well and diligently. I also know these cars quite well, so know how to maintain them properly. This car also has the advantage of the later, revised cam-chain followers which were an achilles heel on the earlier N20.

Full service history as per photos. The last service was carried out in Summer 2024 at 27,000 miles. A new Varta battery was fitted in 2024 by myself, coded and registered to the car.

This (as with all my cars) is one of the very best out there. I am asking £12,000. This is not cheap for an E89, I know, but it is very good value for one of this age, mileage, colour and quality.

The car has a 'stubby' aerial (not fitted by me!) but I do have a 'proper' aerial for it aswell. A rarely used half cover for the car will be included in the sale.

A new car is on it's way so this needs to go asap. Located in Spalding, Lincs PE11.

Nothing changes!
He doesn’t keep them long does he?
I have seen this car and it is truly a fine example in a lovely colour. As some of you will know I own Andy’s wife’s previous Z4 and have been delighted with it. I am sure whoever purchases this one will be equally happy with it.
Happy New year Andy and good luck with the sale.

Never seen that colour on an e89, looks very nice with that.

Good luck with the sale - you will be z4-less again

As said it was only available from late-build 2015 until the end of production in early 2017 on the E89. I know Estoril was originally developed for full-fat 'M' cars, but they have offered it on a few others since.

It is a very good colour for the E89 and suits it well IMO. It looks its best in sunlight but I may struggle to get pictures of that at the moment. :)

It might not be cheap compared to others but will be one of the best. You get what you pay for. GLWTS👍

And happy new year 🥳

Never chase the downward spiral. When you see the “competition” and its prices, they are never comparable.

Cracking car at a reasonable ask from a well respected forum member. As said, Estoril E89's are pretty rare. It's a colour I love and really suits the car.

The photograph doesn't justify the colour (really suits the E89), good luck with the sale Pondrew, don't think this will hang about... the big question :w00t: , what's next!

Great colour that mate.
And you certainly seem to take good care of your cars, so will be a great buy for someone.
Glws.

There is only one other 2016 private sale 20i with the same spec on AT. That one is more money, has 10,000 more miles and is (boring) black sapphire. I would also bet money it isn't as good (although I don't know obviously). :)

I understand I have priced mine toward the top end of the market and the time of year couldn't be worse, but it will sell for what it's worth. I am a realist not a dreamer.

I absolutely agree. My comment was not against your price but justifying it. You get what you pay for if you are sensible. Your car looks to be in mint condition and priced accordingly. It will not hang around. If I was looking, I would snap your hand off👍

Looks stunning and one of the best bmw blues ever along with Montego of course (see my sig). Glwts

No doubt a top condition car, and one of my favourite colours for an E89. Price doesn't seem unreasonable.

I haven't got around to sorting out decent pictures and extra details for the car yet, but having thought about the market and other cars for sale I am offering it for £12,000.

Still not a bargain in the current (terrible) market but good value for the quality and mileage of the car. I doubt you will find a better one.

Happy new year Pondy, cracking car, love the colour and is a decent price for the spec / mileage, will be a great buy for someone.

Cheers Sean. Happy new year to you too.

Put a deposit on a new car for the wifey today, so this will be taking up valuable space very soon. :o
