Autumn images thread

Great pics
I can see the Rocky Mountains from my house, I'd trade you for the English countryside any day.
Autumn... is that a season? I don't think we have that season here, we have a sort of summer then it just switches to ice, snow and bleeding cold. Then it switches back to a sort of summer,( Spring is one weekend in May).

More pics please ...I'm getting homesick :D

I bet the rockies look incredible tho…! Ive been watching mountain men on Nat Geo recently looks pretty inhospitable lol!

It was a nice day quite warm, compared to the night before was about -3 which isn't that cold but just starting to get into winter now. Left a nice frost and a bit of ice. But the sun was low all day brilliant for pictures, more colour :)

Had a go at some sunsets last weekend

This is a dead tree in a field on the east of Oundle

Over the local marina

And a shot of the old bridge into town and river @ about 8 am

Tom, i am just getting in to photography, so do you mind sharing what camera settings you were using for the shot of the fence pole by the moss covered wall. I would imagine this would have been very dark here and the rest well lit? Want to understand how i set the light mettering in this situation, Spot, central or all, and if spot what would i try to use and focus o, i assume the wall but help greatly received?
