Beautiful Porsche 987.1 Cayman S £13,250

Darren Slone

Lifer
Nottinghamshire
After 4 years of ownership and 6K miles I’ve decided to sell my 56 plate, 2007 model Porsche Cayman S :driving: , those of you who know me from the forum can confirm how I look after my cars as I’ve sold both my Z4MR and MC on here, I’ve just completed a 900+ mile euro trip through France, Belgium and the Netherlands and never missed a beat, it’s a beautiful car inside and out, there are a few age related stone chips but they don’t deter from the overall fantastic condition of this car.

Here are the details.

Arctic Silver with Full Black Extended Leather, dash and door cards.
Sports Chrono.
Sat Nav.
PCM.
Multi function Steering Wheel.
Crested Hard Back Sports Seats.
Bose Surround Sound.
Recent Michelin Pilot Sport N2’s all round on 19” Sport Classic Wheels with painted Crest Centres,
Eibachs and Cayman R Geo, original springs available.
Tony Banks Cat Back Stainless Exhaust.
59.5K miles with huge history file, all books and all MOT’s etc.
Back in 2018 it was a Sytner Select Car with 51K miles.

When I bought the car on 53K it had just had a major service, Auxiliary Belt, coil packs, timing chain tensioner seal, subsequently I’ve replaced the Air Con Condensers, fitted a GT3 gear selector, smooth as silk, Front Brembo Discs, pads and sensors, gear shift security clamps.

I have the oil and filter changed ever year at MOT time and BF every 2 years, the MOT is due in November so will sell with a new full MOT certificate and oil and filter change.

It’s an awful lot of car for the money :driving:

Location NG19 Mansfield Nottinghamshire.

Please see pictures below, private plate will be removed when sale agreed, thanks Darren

Lovely car , i actually had the pleasure of appreciating some time behind the wheel around Coniston & the south lakes :driving:
Worth adding to the post this car is kept cosseted indoors & as the mileage shows hasn't been daily driven in Darren's ownership .
Anyone interested can be assured it will not disappoint like many on the market currently

Thanks Andy, that was a good trip :driving:

Wow, that looks like a fantastic car for the money - GLWTS.

I hope you aren't going back to Z4 ownership Darren as you can't have your Aero sills back.

You must like them then! I hope you post something about the next one as there seem to be quite a few Porsche fans on here.

TBH I could be sorely tempted by a Cayman, but I'm still enjoying my MC too much for now. :D

I haven't driven a 981 GTS, but I am on my second 718 GTS 4.0, the first of which was Gentian. Its a peach of an engine/package. I see Chris Harris has been waxing lyrical about them recently saying "one of the best Porsche's I have ever driven". GLWTS and look forward to seeing pictures of your incoming Cayman

Thanks Boyo  I’ll send you a PM as I’d be interested in your views on manual vs PDK :driving:

Replied.

I’ll also vouch for this car as I’ve been on a couple of trips with Darren, including last weeks trip to Flanders and last years around South Wales.

Darren keeps all his cars in immaculate order. Any new owner won’t be disappointed

To answer your question about manual versus PDK …
Or you could have the best of both worlds :driving:

Absolutely stunning, if someone would kindly give me £15K for my Zed and a lengthy handwritten letter explaining to my wife why I need this car I’d be grateful ….

GLWTS, can’t see this stunner hanging around for long

Yep, that is what I have done. The auto box in the M for cruising and the manual for mountain driving in the Porsche
