Does it drain the battery if you don’t drive it regularly?
I don’t drive my Zed every day & being a teacher there is the possibility that for 12 weeks of the year it will literally sit on the drive whilst I am driving the family car during school holidays. I don’t want to hardwire it if it’s going to bugger up the battery![]()
I have mine hardwired and it does drain the battery a little but the hardwire kit that I have for my Viofo comes with a battery saver where it basically cuts the power to the camera once the battery voltage drops below a certain point. You can adjust it between 11.8V to 12.4V. This way there is no danger of completely draining the battery.
