Hi Zed Heads!

I’ll be awkwardly recording videos with my first Z4M for my old YouTube channel over winter.

Feel free to laugh at my expense as I awkwardly talk to a camera while documenting what I get up to with the Z.

First part will be live at 8pm today if I have done it right

Are your ears bleeding yet? Would have been good to see a bit more of you fitting them as I know that getting them to sit straight takes a bit of time and patience!

Not yet Tom  it was freezing when I put them on so didn’t film much until I recorded the start up the day after. I’ll go back over fitment issue “tips” in the next update as still have lots planned exhaust wise in terms of aesthetics, as-well as sound and performance enhancements to reduce drone etc etc.

A side video is being uploaded from 10am today just as a little way of getting used to filming and editing. Actually enjoying it as I used to make little montage videos when travelling abroad but have set most to private on the channel now.

In today’s video we install Fang Protector Skid Plates to the Z4M Coupe thanks to Mr Tidy from the Z4-forum.com for selling me his set.

The skid plates and diffusers are supplied and made by another long term Z4-forum member dans6490 who a few years ago also made the “RPi” style M Air intake scoops.

Just a bit of fun as my weekends have started to free up a little bit

I'm glad you're pleased with them.

Like I said when we met with my car having been slammed on coil-overs before I bought it fitting them would have been a case of too little too late!

I really meant to make a template of them before I parted with them, but you've gone a step further with dans6490.

I enjoyed the video, and thanks for the "credit".

Will keep a look-out for future instalments. However good they sound my OCD wouldn't let me fit RPIs with those different diameter tail-pipes!

I was planning on fitting equally sized tips. But now I’ve fitted them, they actually look canny. More planned with the “zaust” soon will update when I get the chance.

I also fitted RPI mufflers , sounds amazing but the drone was a killer so i fitted two resonators as a J-pipe. it cut the drone by 90% , it only droned slightly from 3400-3800rpm.

That’s exactly what I’ll be doing soon. Your system looks identical to the lads at Skyer Motorsports
