With your bump (thread has been bloody helpful to me) a quick question. I'm a few pints in, you mention the 2x salmon relays and the 2x microswitches. The hall sensors, can't remember how many there are, are they included in the hydrolic harness or something separate?

2 Series Hall Sensors for Roof Issue

Hi all, I've got a roof problem with my Z4, as per previous thread. I was told that I needed to replace the hall sensors by a forum member here and the forum member said that I can buy hall sensors from a 2 series, which I did along with some other parts. Can anybody help ? I'm guessing these...

Thanks. Then it might be cheaper buying it directly in the UK.

Yes, the current "version" of the harness fits for all Z4 E89.

There is a French Z group planning a weekend mid of may here in Munich with about 30 Z's:

Is it worth repairing this small tear in the boot seal? I've got a neoprene wetsuit repair kit so could use the black silicone "glue" from this. It's not letting in water.

Needs to be fixed ..it will leak..the seals are prohibitively expensive so a rubber based repair would be good..
