Hi folks,

I've been lurking around here since early June when me & the other decided to get a Z4 & it's a wealth of knowledge. In particular WonderMike's post re. Z4 options was an absolute god-send when trying to decipher the various ads and working out what standard and what was optional, so cheers for that Mike!

After looking through the various ones on sale at the time of Autotrader & Petrolheads this colour & spec. stuck out..... so we bought it :D

3.0si Sport, one owner, '56/21K, Monaco Blue, saddle brown New England Leather & dark poplar interior, Bluetooth prep, comfort package, headlight wash & LOGIC7 hi-fi....

...and what an amazing car. This is the first one I've had where I've not been tempted to change the exhaust, air filter and the like, tho I am tempted with the mangowalk... The whole package is perfect & for me a whole load more fun to drive than my previous 'fast car', an Evo VI. Cruising (or hooning) along with the roof down and the burble of that straight six is just sublime. If anyone is around my neck of the woods (North Herts. / South Beds.) give me a flash. I've seen a few driving around Hitchin & Letchworth including a Phoenix Yellow roadster, not sure about that colour tho...

Anyway here's a few more pics taken at the weekend (apart from the interior one) with another new toy - Sony A200 DSLR which I'm getting to grips & experimenting with after years of point n shoot cameras...

I'll go back to lurking now 8)

Unusual interior, wood trims don't normally do it for me but it seems to work really well in your car.

Cheers for that :) It just looked so different to the plethora of black n aloominum dashes out there & combined with the colour of the seats & paint it was an instant hit with us. There was another Monaco blue for sale the same time as ours but that had a champagne interior which just looked too light with the dark paint...

Hi evosticks (and everyone else)

this is my first post, also after lurking around for a while picking up tips and stuff!

Well I went for a very similar colour combo (Monaco blue) but with the champagne & piano black interior on a 2.5Si sport - I think it looks great - as does yours!

Lovin' the car, trying not to become too addicted to using the sport button :driving:

Hi and welcome, nice looking car, like the extended leather much better than normal, but still not a fan of the wood.

We're like buses.... I don't think I'd seen any Monaco Blue roadsters on here (haven't looked that hard admittedly) and then two appear on the same day :D ... Know what you mean about the sport button, that instant throttle response is very, very nice! Enjoy!

...oh, and thanks for the warm response from all you seasoned posters
