I take looks good and BDS certainly went above and beyond after their stick take bo-bo.

I’m still really tempted by one, but want to sort my corroded wings out first because as much as the boom over 5k annoys me, catching sight of the slight bubbles on the arches annoys me more!

The new wheels look fab, especially with the six pits behind them. I like the yellow fogs; it works well with the colour of your car.

Thanks..
Yes, priorities... My teeny tiny bubble kept me up at night and I couldn't relax until I had a plan in action to sort it.

Yup; my wife says she can’t see them but I can! :D

If you ask Bruno he will also show you all the dyno time he spent perfecting this intake, it does actually make a difference.

Yes, they've put a good amount of effort into the system, Bruno was also very keen to add that this is all home made, everything produced in the UK.
I visited BDS early last year (I think just after you got your car modified, Joycey?) to talk about what they could offer but I felt the Stage 2 wasnt quite ready for my needs, so I opted for just the intake modifications (airbox, foam filter, elbow (which includes the AFM fitting).
They've been further tinkering with the software so it must be close to the finished map, now.

The black AutoAlex Z4 Coupe was there with some serious modifications, it was their development mule.

Going further with the N52, he was explaining they're now reliably past 300.
They've found loads of (and relatively easy) potential from the 3.0si and stopped working on the S54 tune and will be selling the ///M soon. The 3.0 is the sweet spot for the Z4, in his opinion.

installed a AFE intake very happy with it.
Out of curiosity, did you paint the cover of your afe intake? Just installed mine but not sure if I'm a fan of the silver

I think your quoting has messed up?
I dont have the AFE solution.

I took a drive out to meet Nath, a fellow Coupe owner who's just added BBS LM reps to his Silver Grey, the big camera got some use.

Montego Blue is such a lovely colour, it's taken me nearly 18 months to finally appreciate it, I always prefer silver cars but after spending nearly 8 hours on mine over the weekend with a 2 stage polish and Fusso Coat it looks fantastic!

Great pictures.
Agreed with Montego Blue. Probably my fave colour for the Coupe......followed by Space Grey.
That must be Cardington where you took the pics.
How did you get that close?

Yes Cardington, that area we were in is open to public, I've never been before but it's only 25mins away.

I'm kind of surprised the area in front on the hangars is left open. It's a huge gravel area just crying out for yoofs for hang out and do yoof stuff, there's a row of houses next to it which must get really annoyed.
And then, after 5 mins a group of lads turned up on the noisiest motorbikes, trying to pull wheelies and attempting burnouts with their 50cc bikes.
They left after a while, and all was quiet.

BMW Pheonix Yellow. The OEM colour when they were ordered as a factory option for the 130i. THe brakes were also standard on the E8x 135i but in grey, before they moved to 4 pots for the later models.
Brembo 'BMW Performance' callipers, CSL 345x28mm discs and custom carrier brackets.

Thanks. I have the opportunity to get my OEM callipers professionally refurbed and painted for free and was toying with which colour to go for.
These look nice and should look good with midnight metallic blue, but i might also go for a more yellow yellow (if that makes sense).

A nice silver or dark grey works well. RMB has just had his freshly painted in a dark silver and they look great.

The metalwork surrounding the radiators was bugging me, it was crusty in a few areas and the headlight warning stickers were in a bad way.
I was also missing some of those horrid plastic expanding threaded pins, I hate them.

Crusty:

Some Bilt Hamber Hydrate 80 to spot treat the small areas of surface rust.
Then a mask up and prime. No, I'm not a Daily Mail reader!

New stickers, some bolts and those horrible plastic expanding pins that're made of cheese:
