Mileage survey

I have seen various surveys like 'average drivers age' but has a survey been carried out at any time on how many miles our cars have covered. I ask because there are a number of cars up for sale on the forum with over 100k miles on the clock and I have always understood that once a car hits that mileage in the publics eye it is a 'scraper'
The 6 cylinder is a sturdy beast which can cover probably go to 200k plus but the 100k miles has always been a bit of a ceiling as far as a cars value is concerned and I am intrigued with the sort of mileage our cars have travelled.

I created this survey a while back

Congratulations ! I hope you didn't have too many problems getting the photo. Last time this happened to me I was a club run, and ended up getting half the convoy lost when I pulled off to get a photo !

my old E36 coupe with the M52TU 6 pot engine....
Thanks for the good news, my E46 is running a M52B28TU.

Anyway:
E86 - just under 70K
E30 - broke the 100K barrier last year
E46 - 215K (km)

I know an E30 325e that was bought new, still same owner, well over 300K, still daily driver.

2007 M roadster on 105k miles. I don't care what the public think because they're not getting my Zed! :)

M52B25TU for mine and designated as a '323i'. Same as the '325i' but geared with a taller final drive for economy and hence the quarter million mile workhorse it became. Happy days.

Just clocked 160k miles on my 3.0i 2004 zed, looking to add another 20k in the next 6 months as it's a daily drive :D
