New battery - E85M

I foolishly let my battery go completely flat and whilst the cTek brought it back to life I'm thinking I should probably change it (its at least 9 years old so only a matter of time I guess before it gives up the ghost). Since it went flat i've had periods where the Christmas lights were on early.

Is the OEM size 278mm X 175mm X 190mm? I'm a little lost on what to replace it with, some mention AGM, is this required?

Last ask (apologies), from reading other forum posts it doesn't need a reset and I won't lose the radio code, has anyone found this not to be the case?

Would this be suitable? https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/varta/e44/

Thanks in advance

(I'm planning to follow this to replace - https://www.pelicanparts.com/techar...on_Notes_and_Replacement.htm#project-comments)

someone recently put a compact lightweight lithium battery in there M.
Might be well worth the upgrade?

Here you go, not an M but… page 6…

Got this For the M in February from ML performance. I just copied what was in there, works a treat and a good price.

I liked the idea of a lithium battery to free up loads of boot space, but after some discussion with other Z4 owners it seems that although the lithium batteries have plenty of cranking power they don't retain charge too long.

So for a car that may not be used for 2 weeks or so sometimes (like mine) they might not be the right option. I bought an AGM one because I read somewhere it would work well for infrequent use, and it has so far!
