Had her a week. Love it. She’s getting a new plate today and having a once over from my local BMW specialist. I think there may be a slight rocker cover leak otherwise it looks great.

Welcome to the forum, do you have any photos of your 35is to share with us?
Glad you are enjoying her, it’s not a BMW without an oil leak
Check the boot area for leaks, around the battery and roof motor and also the little cubbyhole on the left and around the modules on the right. IMG_8722.jpeg

Welcome to the Forum. The 3.5 is a lovely car. I owned a Melbourne Red one a few years ago. The straight six has a great sound when you start it up. Hope you enjoy it.

Cheers for the welcome!

So it’s all good with the exception of the rocker cover and a cracked alloy (which I must have done since the mot last week). So the alloy is off for a fix (along with a refurb for my 18” alloys from my daily 118d e82 coupe). When this comes back I’ll probably get some after market 18” for the Z4 just because the uk roads are very sh!t and the Z4 19” are delicate. I’ll keep the originals because they’re the originals but won’t use them after this. I heard that they’re notorious on these but didn’t expect to get stung in a week! Nevermind!
Any suggestions for tasteful alloys?

welcome to the forum, i can vouch for a 35i.

Was this the one that was on Autotrader at a very reasonable price for about 24 hours before it was snapped up? Looks beautiful.

Loving the E89. Just had a fly in the ointment though. Got home on Sunday and couldn’t get the roof to close. Turns out I have the dreaded soft close boot problem. Booked in for a repair (not replacement).
