another but different from what I could find
2004 3.0 82K miles 6spd
runs fine - battery app 6 months old
drove 60 miles shut down - returned 9 hours later to no crank
(always the same = all lights and things work - remote key unlocks - radio/dash/.... all normal but - no crank at all - no clicks -- nothing)
next day same - no crank...
tried second key - same
tried to jump start - same
push started - immediately started and ran fine - no error lights... - drove it around the parking lot
shut down - no crank
next day same - no crank... push started - immediate start - drove around the parking lot
shut down - no crank
push started... drove around lot - shut down - no crank
next day no crank
push started - immediate start - drove home 60 miles - no issues
shut down - started immediately as normal
- shut off then cranked again - immediate - normal start
- shut off again immediate normal start
to me this is the starter - but most posts point to the ignition switch first... does the push start and intermittent start make a difference or still ignition switch first?
thank you for your expertise!
