Piano Black Style Dash & Console replacement

Hi Alan
Are you still doing this? Just found the article and wish I'd known about it earlier! I bought some piano black trims from another member and fitted myself, having had the rear consul out a couple of times before made it easier although the longest part is all of the damn torque screws in the centre consul. At least I could do those on the kitchen table!
The point to all of this is that I have a set of brushed aluminium, surplus to requirement, are you in the market to want any more or do you turn around enough from swaps. Let me know.

Hi George,
No, not really. I havent done one for ages and only have one black set in stock, but have 3 bare Aluminium sets sat around.

As you will have discovered, its quite time consuming and fiddly, so I've just been concentrating on the roof motor relocations mainly for the past year or two, but thanks for the offer,

Alan

Thanks for the polite response, having relocated my roof motor some years ago, I'm interested how you deal with the cutting of the cable ties from the plastic retaining clip down in the well and have enough slack on the pipes to get it all back in the container???? Don't reveal your secrets to all, respond in a pm if you want :happyclap: :happyclap:
Regards
George

Hi George,
No problem. No Secret really, But unlike a few others who do it, I take the roof out so that I can clearly see what I'm cutting and am able to do more diagnostic/servicing work on the motor in a standing position, rather than crawling upside down in the boot.
