Sad or just a Z4 owner

Hi all. Was sat doing nothing interesting this evening. Mrs mentioned she needs the Mazda tomorrow, could I take the Z to work. Well it's looking like good weather tomorrow, so fine.

Then I remembered I was driving around a muddy field, at a show, at the weekend, my baby is muddy. So I snook out and gave the her a quick wash and dry. Problem is it's pretty much gone dark and my neighbour spots me.

"Hi john, that's sad" Well what could I say? :(

x4, i spent 10 hours polishing and waxing mine on saturday, i've been out in it once since and today i gave it a wash and 2nd coat of wax, my neighbours just wouldnt understand a "2nd coat of wax" they just look at me as if i'm mad

Tell him you're trying to clean off the blood before the police track you down :D

I'd have probably gone with something spur of the moment and typically ill thought out like - "Not as sad as you'll be when you find I shagged your bird on the kitchen table yesterday..." then silence...golden :-)

But that does depend if you, like me, open your mouth before thinking first :D

I will happily spend hours cleaning, waxing, vacuuming the car just to do it all again the following week. Love it :-)

I must admit to finding that washing and polishing my two cars strangely therapeutic and rewarding. Ditto gardening. There again my neighbours don't understand me either and clearly think I've got OCD. At least you didn't get the inane comment 'you'll only make it rain' or the equally annoying ' you can come and do mine when you've finished'. :x

ha ha know where your comming from greeney.....

Think my neighbours are used to it now they say nothing
