Fantastic pics.

Bangle lives on. What ever crimes he committed on the rear end of the 5 and 7 series during his tenure at BMW are quickly forgiven, when you remember he also singed off the panel pressing technique later referred to as Flame surfacing on the Z4. 8)

I'm not qualified to criticize anybody with the credentials of this man but, I am an artist. I know a good line and bad line when I see one. There are some lines on this car that look like Friday night 5 pm & we gotta have something to show....... so put it here.
I'm sorry, I wanna love it in it's entirely ... but, I can't. It just does not flow like it should

This guy was an artist. How do you like his lines?

Just proves that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and not necessarily because you are an artist or not. 🙂 You may not like it but others obviously do and no persons view is more valid than the other.

Cracking photos

Yes, great photos. Although phone cameras have much improved over the years nothing can beat a good full frame SLR In the right hands. In this case a Nikon D800 according to the exif.

Thanks everyone!

Yes that's right. You'd actually be surprised how close the iPhone 11 Pro comes.

This is from the iPhone:

And then the same shot from the D800:

I have an iPhone XS which is really good and much improved on earlier models. I’m sure the 11 Pro is another step up. I still have my a Canon gear but if I’m travelling use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100 which is small but still gives good results. Anyway enjoy your car it looks great and what a nice colour. 🙂

Great Pics. Both on the Nikon and the IPhone, hard pressed to tell which is the better image, if anything the Iphone looks a little brighter in places. But the dof looks a little shallower on the Nikon. Amazing what phones can do these days.

I also ditched my DSLR a couple of years ago for a Lumix micro mirror less. But at some point I can see I may be happy to leave the house without a camera, and rely on my phone.
