Yes, Mrs Tidy would have loved that (she was brought up in Speke)!

My sister, 4 uncles, 3 aunties, and dozens of cousins still live there (and none of them do drugs, have been shot/stabbed or been in prison).

Well her family would have stayed there given a choice, but the council owned the property and didn't give them a choice.

So like many Scousers they all ended up in Runcorn. :(

...and Spurs have just done the same!!!

All-English final in Madrid

Spurs scored 4 goals did they? Nope.

Liverpools comeback was better.
I'm a neutral but I loved this quote in an article about last nights' game

On another website said:
They are the first team to reach the Champions League final having failed to win any of their three opening group games; they are the first team since Manchester United in 1999 to overturn a 2-0 semi-final scoreline to win the game; they are the first team since Tuesday to make us say ‘f***ing, f***ing hell’ out loud.

Two amazing games, two amazing comebacks....
Let's not argue about which was best, let's just be grateful that we saw them both happen...

Agreed Perry...should be some final.

I’m an LFC fan, but am balanced enough to appreciate another team’s comeback.

Just like I acknowledged that last week’s loss to Barcelona was still a great game...just the wrong result at that time :P

June 1st will be slightly different though, and I just hope it’s every bit as exciting as the semi-finals

Thanks - as a lifelong Chelsea fan I'm glad they made it! Even if they didn't get there the easy way by winning the game. :(

Still, Europa League final and Champions League next season isn't a bad result given our recent Premier League performances.

Wooly backs. :o
Still they can always cheer for Spurs. :poke:

Oops, I must have forgotten how close Cornwall is to Liverpool. :headbang:

The M56/M6/M5/A30 is such a wonderful, exciting drive...especially for the last 10 years with all the average speed cameras through the roadworks :headbang:
