Try as I might, I just cannot shift the split rim bolts in my spare set of 108s.
So far, I've removed three, snapped four, and rounded two off..

what the actual f*ck?

I've read time and time again that these should just undo, yet mine simply wont budge.
I've tried soaking them in penetrating oil overnight.
I've tried slightly tightening then untightening.
I've tried a mahoosive breaker bar
I've tried hitting it with a hammer.
I've tried swearing at it.
I've tried moving onto another if one doesn't budge
Nowt seems to work.

Also.. I've coated one with nitromar for over an hour, and I'm barely getting any paint bubbling, and rinsing it off then rubbing at it with a nitromar infused steel ball doesn't work either.

what am I doing wrong guys, as this is done my head it now and I cannot admit defeat to a set of poxy wheels!!! argh :headbang:

i put the wheels on the floor bolts facing up dropped some penetrating oil into each blot left them over night did the same again the second night left them for a couple of days and the all came out with no issues and my wheels were cruddy, all bolts are fitted with lock tight so that will need softening as above it sounds like you now need heat good luck with the rounded of ones

I've now tried heating.
I heated from the outside of the drum (part normally covered by tyre), until the inside rim was too hot to touch.
Made no difference.. they are still too stuck to move :/

Modern paint stripper is next to useless buddy!! I found this stuff worked better https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CEAQFjAAahUKEwiI-vSd0YLHAhXDbRQKHQvUChM&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.blackfriar.co.uk%2Fproduct%2Fpaint-varnish-remover%2F&ei=1vq5VYi3JcPbUYuoq5gB&usg=AFQjCNEbMQKNlQOlLl7f7LElMCJkgYFy3w

As for the bolts it sounds like you are trying all the correct things??? Maybe they have been over tightened and your just screwed!!

Ok i would say try a hand operated impact wrench. If that fails bring the worst one on Sunday and use the air powered impact wrench.

I would say you over heated the wheel before. What you want is to use the different coefficients of the metals. Heat the ally gently so it expands without heating the Ti to much so that dose not.

Try again take your time and less heat. Worst case i have easy outs left hand drills and so on. So i will tidy up your mess and wipe your ass for you.
