Strange issue with fault codes suggesting intake air issue

Car is a low mileage 2005 2.5SE which is currently off the road for winter and being sorted for hopefully what might be a nice spring and summer (joke!).
Last summer I was chasing fault codes on both banks for 'oxygen enrichment' having changed both post cat oxygen sensors due to 'heating element' failure. Classic hallmarks of air getting in on the inlet side. I stripped it all down expecting to find a crack in the boot or similar but nothing ,all is sound, even the blanking plugs at the rear of the engine. At this point I should have paid for a smoke test but my local trusted garage didnt have the equipment. In desperation, I tried disconnecting the MAF to run on default settings .
Oddly with MAF disconnected engine revs would increase every time I touched the brake pedal which really puzzled me as I couldnt see any relationship between the brakes and inlet setup. I am no expert on these things but I realised that the inlet boot has a connection to something called a Sucking jet pump (no idea what this does) and another connection going up to the brake servo with what is called a Vacuum pipe with non return valve.
My question is, has anyone changed this pipe where it enters the servo. Does it just pull out or is some dismantling required. Also could this non return valve be malfunctioning such that revs increase and consequently air bleed back into the engine setting fault codes.
I cannot find any threads where this has been raised before so any help would be much appreciated.

OP’s car is a 2005, don’t think the n52 was available until 2006?

Easy to pick up the wrong bit on NewTIS. Here's the other option, just in case.

Yes, thats the part. I have read however on another forum that disconnecting the maf will result in an increase in revs when brake pedal is operated. Something to do with engine running on default setting and compensating by allowing in more fuel .
It's not been mentioned on here when people disconnect the maf to test it nor the consequences of that one way valve failing. It's just that tracing the piping back shows it going back into the troublesome intake boot which could explain why I am getting fault codes on both banks for fuel enrichment.

Sucking Jet Valve is here in real oem diagram https://www.realoem.com/bmw/en/showparts?id=BT32-EUR-06-2005-E85-BMW-Z4_25i&diagId=11_2885
I had an issue with a fellow members 2.5 where the valve was leaking and letting in to the vacuum system, only found it by doing a smoke test. Replaced the valve and pipe to resolve the issue.

Thanks colb. But what did you dismantle to get access to the pipe which goes under the intake arrangement. All I can see is the pipe disappearing under the large plastic intake thingy. Thanks
