Ahem :poke:

I trust you are not referring to the blue vision of loveliness above your post... 8) :D

Definitely not, always been a fan of the 4, 5 and 6. Come to that the 2 and 3 still have a certain charm about them.

I notice no mention of the 7 there :D - my first car. It all went a bit wrong didn't it.

This the spawn of Beelzebub, I tell thee!

Nice looking car but who could be bothered with all that
I take it the newer ones are easier?

ermmm, I think that is the latest unless anyone knows better?

The pic is of the latest one. The video is the 987-based spider.

Hood in the latest one is much better - it's about as fast as a Z4 with a broken roof motor (if you include fannying around with the Bowden cable release).

ok, so this the latest hood release for the boxster Spyder (thanks for the clarification MrPT)
Still a bit of pfaffing around, but quicker:

Sadly a bit out of my pricerange at £10 million+

Was about to say, HOW has this not been posted, but you're clearly on the case

It's so cliche, but IMO it completely epitomises all a drop-top should be - I'd have one in a heart-beat if I had the spare money and a pad on the South of France ;)

Think you'd go a long way to better this beauty. And it's British

Thats a corker!

Having said that - I wonder how it drives? I think it will be very very hard work.

Can appreciate the Porsche Boxster Spyder, and a few other new ones, but best looking must go to the "old school". The AC Cobras, the Alfa Spyder, Mercedes 350, BMW 507..... and my all time favourite, the Jaguar E Type. Curves a-plenty. Although I couldn't live with it, the shape is unsurpassed, so I would lump for its modern equivalent:

Some lovely roadsters on this thread. I was trying to find some nice pics of the 300sl, this profile I think still looks stunning.

The Porsche Boxster S 981 - and (unlike the spyder) it has a proper electric folding roof:
