What have you done to your car today?

Put in new washer bottle motor as the old one had a leak.
5 minute job and a £9 part,lovely jubbly.
Then took it mechanic for new brake pipes, that jobs a bit out of my league.

Today, finally got the oil filter housing oil leak sorted. Also, having had a clunk noise, the mechanic found the rear diff bush split. Hope it is that making the noise but shall report back after Thursday.

A day on Dartmoor rock climbing today and for once I remembered to stop and take a photo of the MR after taking the long way home. :D :driving:

Then as ever a quick wask of the wheels and skirts before tucking her away.

Just fitted Goodridge stainless 6 bit hose kit, new pads and fluid. Will give it a wash if the wind drops, then bed em in this evening when the roads are quieter.

Got the car back yesterday after a visit to the bodyshop to sort a couple of minor items that were present when I bought it.

It had been gone for 3 weeks instead of 4 days as my mate hurt his knee part way through the job  :headbang:

Still it’s back now, so spent a few hours cleaning the roof with a gentle brush and Johnson’s baby bath (the blue bottle), then washed the car, Glazed it with auto-finess ultraglaze and waxed with Turtlewax hybrid Graphene wax.

Need to treat the tires… and tidy the garage

As you were!
The car is coming back to me. After a couple of days getting out and about in it, Stuart sadly says it's aggravating his back and I've agreed to take it back and see if I can find a new home for it as he needs the space for a more spine-friendly vehicle.
So, watch this space for a well sorted 2.5si I guess! With 3 owners on the logbook that weren't there two months ago (me twice!)

10 minutes fiddling around and its fitted. Hardest part was pulling the connector block apart but easy job. Old brake light is in bits. Lord knows what was holding it together. Can you buy the red lens cover as a separate item?

Lovely car. What kind of wheels are those? Really like them.

Went out at the weekend for a hoon with the roof down. Drove the usual route through Perthshire and the Trossachs in Scotland that I'd normally take on the bike. Nice and relaxing drive although did put the foot down a good few times :D

All new copper brake pipes and hoses front to back.
Must say they were ready for doing after looking at the hoses that were removed.

MOT today, another clean pass

I love it when the MOT tester comes and gives you a compliment on the car, “it’s so clean underneath” :D 8)

Now then, to sell or keep :?
