Needs a good bath and a tidy up but it’ll be a fun little thing to knock about in once it’s back home

Cheers Iain. It’s rough around the edges but I’ll get it up to a nice standard and enjoy some top down motoring again to keep the miles down on the MC

It seems to be a popular trend Paul. Simon3.2M bought an E85 recently to go with his MC!

Good luck smartening it up.

It’s cleaned up well. I stuck it on eBay as is but I’m gonna fix it up and probably keep it for the summer

So far:
Fitted bonnet cable and latch that came supplied with the car

Refitted Business Radio

Next:
Fit new coolant expansion tank
Service and inspection
MOT

The photo is bothering me (I know I need a hobby). What is going on with that RS Focus next door? The rear doesn't look right!? :?

I know what you mean. I must have clicked the .5 all the way out zoom on my iPhone camera

Feeling optimistic about the Project Z4 I bought this month as slowly getting through a list to get it back on the road.

It’s a 2.2 se 5 speed with 106k on the clock

For £600 and a few more sorting it out, it looks to be a great purchase.
That rubber wheel is hideous, the leather one will be so much nicer.

Agreed, that rubber wheel is really poor. Lets the cabin down. If you’re putting on that nice new gearknob and are looking for a home for your original one, please let me know. Mine came with an aftermarket one and I’m looking for an original.
Nice work on the car so far. Good tip on disposing of the roof drain bungs. That’s my next job.

The inside of its fell apart so is slack. You’d be better off with something from eBay tbf it’s that bad

Passed its MOT today with flying colours.

Glad I’ve managed to keep another Z4 on the road. Now to get it insured and taxed and enjoy it. Unless I decide to sell and buy an E89

It’s always satisfying to keep a car on the road that otherwise would be most probably scrapped or broken for parts

Properly surprised at how smooth and nippy this flimper spec little 2.2 is for 106k. Well chuffed with it.
