Z4 E85 N52B25 performance upgrade

the 2.5litre Car isn’t going to produce 255 ponies, it’s got to be a 3litre.

My thoughts too but apparently it's a 2.5.

its a normal 2,5 liter but the N52 engine is the same as in E89 the M54 is different.

And there is no supercharger for the N52B25 only for the N52B30 I was thinking of swaping the 3,0 and making it custom aswell with a big supercharger

We know the M54 is different but the 2.5 in the e89 doesn't make 255bhp, the 3.0 does...

I added info to the post I never said its a stock N52B25 engine when I put the race exhaust intake etc the brake showed I think 205 HP thats 25 HP more then stock

I never wrote it only soft there is a race exhaust custom made a race intake etc in europe the N52B25 in Z4E85 has 130kw (mine) and the N52B25 in E89 Z4 has I think 160 kw

That print out I showed is a supercharged N52B25 engine. ESS supplied the charger and kit. It's in an 2011 E89.

Big problems with parts for 2,5liter I had them made custom for my engine only thing I bough was eisenmann duplex

If he's added the basics of a 2.5si to his engine he'll get to 218. So he's saying intake and exhaust mods with a flash has seen him gain 37HP. That's not beyond the realms of possibility is it?

I think your Dyno sheet shows a forced induction engine? I’m talking about the OP normally aspirated 2.5litre engine making 255bhp......

That's exactly what I'm trying to say. The print out shows a supercharger bolted to a 2.5. The OP asks about ways to increase power but thinks they don't make one for the 2.5 when ESS do.

The OP says that intake & exhaust changes gave him 205bhp which means the ecu tune gave an extra 50bhp on a normally aspirated engine. That’s not realistic imho.

Possibly but the op has already said that intake & exhaust modes gave him 205bhp, something doesn’t add up here?

what I saw in specifications mine has 130kw the E89 I think 2,5SI or something like that has 160kw dont know how its in US . Thats where we started to search the differences. The E85 has idiot made cat system So theoretically if you have stock E89 parts and soft on my engine it should generate 160kw . Same engines in bmw have different power output I looked at the 3 liter biturbo for my car and it has like 4 power versions
