Z4 Roof Motor Replacement

Hi bowser, I cant seem to be able to PM you. I would like to discuss Z4 roof motor replacement/relocation. Are you still providing this service? I'm in Hampshire so popping over to you would be ideal :D

Is this a service you still offer?

I think my motor has filled with water, the roof unlatches and the windows go down but nothing more. Before this the motor did sound like it was struggling.
My Z4 is 2.5si E85.

Hi guys, first post here.. I've had my beloved E85 Z4 2.5si for nearly a year now, been a joy to drive, but a fully functioning roof would definitely make it better!

I knew there was a problem with the roof before buying the car. The roof comes down fine, but I need to pull it with my hand whilst pressing the button until it's half way up, then it will finish the remaining journey by itself without any assistance, although not as quickly as it probably should.

Not sure what the problem is, but I would be interested in having somebody relocate the motor into the boot. I'm based in Canterbury (Kent), but wouldn't mind travelling within a reasonable distance.

I have similar issue with my Z4 - please may I request your contact details/location via private message please - I'm unable to send you PM directly due to being a newbie.

I'd definitely be interested in relocation of motor and if you are able to revive it.

Thanks for the pm. I cannot reply as I am a newbie. This forum is strange.

The roof currently works fine. I would like to know when would be a good time towards the end of this month or early next month to have the motor relocated. Can you pm me your contact details ?

Got a new 08 Z4 and the roof doesn't go down. I am based on the East London / Essex border.

Hi - had my Z4 for a couple of years but the roof has now stopped going down. I assume it is a problem with the motor.
