ZEDfest (North West) 18th August 2024

A big thank you to the guys and girls who helped Marshall this event so well and to the hosts for letting the forum use their land. Hopefully they took plenty through the tills in coffee and sandwiches!

Thank you!

As others have said great day and thanks to organisers for all your efforts.
So nice to meet others who share the same passion
Just need to start saving to buy my G29 m40i !

Great day and thanks to all those who organised/marshalled it, excellent job and thanks for the sticker! My sat nav did initially take me to a gravel track (with the correct name) just one field up, I was sitting there thinking it can't be here, I'm on my own! Nice to see some familiar faces from Scotland and it was great to meet and chat with a lot of fellow Zedders and their wonderful machines... a great opportunity to test the G29 on a long drive (400 miles in all) and it performed excellently

Completely unexpected and a bit overwhelming to be awarded Car of the Show!

After a hard week with the little one being unwell and not a lot of sleep, I wasn’t sure I was going to make it and only managed to spend a couple of hours preparing on Saturday night. Just goes to show making the effort and turning up is the most important thing!

It’s nice to be reminded that it the car is special and how rare they are with only 4 Z4Ms - 3 roadies and 1 coupe. Humbled by the comments and recognition for what a lovely car it is.

It was a really great event, much thanks to the organisers. It was also great to be close to home rather than driving long distances to southern meets. Lovely to catch up with so many people old faces and new! Apparently I was one of the first to buy a ticked  I will most certainly be going again next year.

Just rolled over 5 years of ownership, chuffed is an understatement!

I didnt really manage to take that many pics but when I get chance il post them.

congrats Tom, a wonderful achievement. However, I think you've made a frenemy out of the guy in the burgundy hoody
Thank you!

He was a really nice guy and had a good chat with him! Hopefully have converted him to a Z4M owner in the near future! 🤞🏻

Really enjoyed ourselves at our first Zedfest and great to meet with some of the other members of this and other forums . Thanks to the organisers and friendly marshalls .

Has it been suggested before that we put our forum names on a piece of paper in our car windows so we can relate the car to the forum member as I probably walked past forum members that I have " spoken " to on the forum without knowing they were there . Just a thought ??
Maybe I should just be more sociable and talk to everyone :)

Bladdy Pina drivers, tearing up the roads. :)
We'll see you there

Easy you two…. I only drive fast to keep up with the Silver one :driving: :fuelfire:

It looks like there was a good turn-out of Zs.

I had planned to go, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to spend a few days in the New Forest with my sister, niece, nephew and most importantly great-niece!

Hopefully I'll make it next year.

And congratulations Tom. :winner:

Wish we had known where you were as would have chatted about Bolton with you as that is where my partners mothers family are from . Which car were you in from your photos as you must have been almost opposite us ?

Hi, yes, I remember you. As I said earlier a nice bunch of people, thanks to Cam who had a matching model to mine, I've ordered those new mirror caps! I drove 400 miles that day, great opportunity to test out the G29, and it performed brilliantly. I left Scotland at 5am and it was still dark, the cabin lit up like an 80's night club. To keep myself awake I dropped the roof and blasted out the Prodigy, so apologies to all those sleeping in their little rustic village cottages as I went past screeching blaring out 'I'm the firestarter, twisted firestarter!'
