Just had my z4 20i b48 remapped at West Yorkshire Tuning, from standard 197 bhp 232 lb.ft torque to 296 bhp 307 lb.ft torque, the difference is incredible it feels like a different

Yup you can see the effect of the original gelded version..sings nicely :thumbsup:
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
A very modified Atacama Yellow 35is :thumbsup: Previously a slightly less modified Atacama Yellow 20i MSport :thumbsup:

Did the tuner give you any warnings of potential damage to the B48? I am wanting to do my 320i but I have seen a few warnings about (rare) piston damage which is putting me off TBH.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.

crikey, thats a massive jump! while 300bhp from a 2 litre turbo isnt unreasonable, it is a huge jump from factory!

hope your brakes, tyres and gearbox are up to the task, a 300 bhp car is fast!

I will be keeping up with the servicing every 6000 miles using BMW filter and oil

hi if you have the b48 B engine its the lower compression one .
only the A engine is the higher ompression.
B engine same as 3.0

Impressive results. That will be a lot better.

The BMW 330e a couple of videos below. Gains of 129bhp and 280nm up to 421bhp and 705nm.
