Came across this lovely Tiefgruen cousin today, so had to park up next to it
Four Alfa's and a Ducati later, I've turned to the dark side...

Is that a Q Park car park by any chance?

It was a Qpark, but it’s in NL so doubt it’s the same

Finally fitted all 4 wheels after the stud conversion kit was solidly installed. Overall, pretty happy with the new wheels!

Need to do something about that rear arch gap, but I'll have to wait until I get a set of coilovers as they will be height adjustable.

Yes, I'm not keen on dark wheels but that really works
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

They look fantastic. I’m sure they will look great when the coil overs are fitted too, but I actually like to see a bit of arch gap these days. Funny how our tastes change over time.

I like to see an even gap all the way around the wheel, looks nice.

Not specifically today, but my brother in law adjusted the handbrake last Saturday morning so it's gone from dreadful and barely working to superb. Through the week I've also changed
-air filter for K&N one.
-Cabin filter
-fuel cap seal (MOT advisory)

Front brake dust cover plates are loose so I think they'll be removed and a spot weld put on to secure them again
MOT due in about 6 weeks, as is a service so getting ready for that.

Everyone likes to see an airbourne car!

My dad has a story from when he was in his early 20s. He owned a mini van and it needed new tyres. Two weeks later they were splitting and the garage were apparently really apologetic, gave him new ones and told him "they really shouldn't split like that, it just shouldn't happen unless you're doing jumps in it". My dad stood their in silence pondering the little hump-back bridge he launched himself off twice a day, once on the way to work and once on the way back.

Anyway, I like a nice even gap too, and I am more tolerant of a large gap than many as well.

Finally - enjoy your holidays and thanks again for your advice.
