It would be useful for one of the buttons on the mfsw to effectively be the "mode" equivalent i.e. switch between cd, radio, aux etc. But as far as I can tell the buttons are only for: volume, change track/ channel, and two for the phone options (which i don't have)
Anyway i was reading the e85 bmw website, and there was a page saying
"Multifunction leather Sport steering wheel in the BMW Z4 Roadster.
The buttons on this optional three-spoke steering wheel let you control the radio and optional car phone remotely. There is also a programmable button whose function you can define yourself. "
Can anyone tell me what the programmable button is, and how to effectively make it the "mode" button.
Thanks

It isn't programmable so not sure where that copy came from. You can program the buttons if you have an Intravee installed though very handy

Re: mfsw - the programmable button?
FYI - here's the url. This web section is interesting for e85 owners, albeit nothing terribly new besides the reprogrammable point (3rd photo)

I'll start researching Intravee a little more. Bit gutted none of the buttons don't appear programmable as standard though (or am I just too fussy..!)
