Hi guys,
Does anyone know what type of locking nut this is?
I looked in the battery compartment and I dont have a tool kit and couldnt find the locking nut so need some way to get it off and was hoping to be able get a replacing tool.

Doesn’t look like an OEM one.
You might have to bang a 19” socket over the top to undo it.

There are quite a few storage compartments in the Z4, one under the passenger seat, so have a good root around them. It could also have fallen down the side of the battery. If stuck, send a picture to this ebay seller https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/355476143887 ... 485FACNMS8

I keep mine in the driver's door bin - it's not like it's much use for anything else!
Might be worth checking the cubby between the seats and the glovebox if you haven't already. Or possibly the storage net in the passenger footwell if your car has that option or the cubbies behind the seats if you have them.
