E86 real time engine values.....is there a problem?

Scanned the engine tonight and pulled some real time data. See below. The values for Cylinders 4, 5 & 6 are all negative, compared to the positive values of 1,2 & 3. Does this imply an issue with injectors, plugs or coil packs on 4, 5 & 6. Anyone familiar with what these value represent? thanks

    Headlining Anthracite cloth material

Bit of a strange ask here. Looking to see if anyone knows where I can get hold of the anthracite coloured cloth material that the headliner uses on the E86 coupe. I’m looking to see if I can repair the A pillar cloth which is the same material. Does anyone know of a company that sells...

    E86 Possible Misfire

No engine lights on. Engine flutters a bit when idling, has been doing it a while and always assumed a possible vacuum leak, but this morning the revs were fluctuating a bit more than normal. Scanned the car and it said Misfire on Cyl 6. This is the first time that a scan has produced such a...

    ZHP vs standard gear knob

Here's the comparison in height. As to making a difference.....I've not noticed any massive difference other than you can feel that it's heavier in the hand when changing gears and feels a bit more robust.

    Bulb out warning light.

Plugged Scanner 1.4 into the car this morning and the light module had stored a Faulty Fog light error. Reset all the errors and for the remaining time I was in the car, no more appeared. I have two choices: 1. Look at replacing the fog light bulb - its working, but could well be on its way...

    Bulb out warning light.

Every once in a while, I get a bulb out warning light on the dash. I’ve narrowed it down to the indicators on the passenger side. If I put them on, the green arrow light and sound inside the car are very quick and rapid. Standard for a bulb out. However, after a second or so, everything goes...

    E86 Coupe Rusty Rear Quarters

Got the car back last week and really happy with it. Weather meant I never even considered taking photos. The paint shop told me that they had resprayed the new panels, then put them on the car and weren't happy with them, so they resprayed them again. Some of the boot lid, rear bumper, doors...

    Infamous plastic front bumper/wing clip

Hopefully you all know about the clip I am referring to? The one that holds the front bumper to the wing and has a tendency to break when removing the bumper. Question......going by the picture below, and having never removed my front bumper, is it correct to say that where the yellow line is...

    E86 Coupe Rusty Rear Quarters

So I left the Coupe into my local paint/body shop to have them remove the rust on the rear quarters and respray where necessary. Video footage and some photos shows the damage is worse than hoped with the view that cutting out the rot may not be the best. I had been checking eBay etc for spare...

What have you done to your car today?

Replaced my drivers A pillar interior trim on the E86. Quite difficult to get hold of and quite pricey on eBay. Came across a guy on a facebook group who was stripping their coupe down to be a track car. He still had the trim. Arrived in the post today. Meant that the old one with a cigarette...

Faulty ignition coil give a code?

If you have a faulty ignition coil, would it throw a code that would be picked up by a reader? I'm still looking for the source of a small idling flutter, and wondering if one or more of the coils could be at fault? New spark plugs were put in at the start of the year. If a coil is not...

    Naive alloy wheel question

Never ever bought second hand alloys before, so excuse the beginners question. I’ve an E86 that is lowered on eibach pro springs. I’ve seen a set of 19” alloys. Seller says they are 19x8 and came off a 3 series. They are 5 stud and look like CSL reps. What questions should I ask to find out...

    Carwow buys Autoexpress

Just read that Carwow Ltd acquired Autovia Ltd, parent company of Auto Express, Carbuyer, evo and DrivingElectric a couple of days ago. I've always enjoyed the Carlow Youtube content, and "some" of Rory Reids Autoexpress content. Wonder where things will go now they are one..........

    E86 Handbrake adjustment query

So I changed the handbrake shoes recently. Afterwards, I felt that they must need adjusting as I was practically hitting the ceiling with the handbrake and not much was happening :o Made all the adjustments, and before finishing off made sure the handbrake grabbed after a few clicks....and it...

What have you done to your car today?

New ground cable put in today (courtesy of the AA, not me :D ) Couldn't get the starter motor to start even though it was brand new. Transpires it was a corroded cable.
